Travel and Locations

A career in the NNSA offers many opportunities for travel around the world. Senior NNSA officials and scientists crisscross the globe to respond to nuclear emergencies, secure and eliminate nuclear materials, strengthen the nonproliferation regime, and support the nuclear Navy. At any point in time, NNSA employees can be found in Iran, North Korea, Russia, Pakistan, India, as well as any other nation with an actual or potential nuclear program.

If you're going to enter the Future Leaders Program, be certain about one thing... you will travel. Your willingness to travel is a necessity if you’re going to succeed in this program.
